Flickr with your new Nseries Nokia

At the Open Studio event in Berlin Nokia today introduced a number of new Nseries mobile phones/Multimedia computers Nokia N72, N73 and N93. These phones come packed with multimedia features like digital cameras, music players Wi-Fi connectivity and other goodies.

However new phones were only part of the event. Another part of Open Studio was dedicated to the things you could do with these phones. And one new service that you will get when you buy new Nokia Nseries phone in July is Flickr.

Now, people who wanted to, had the ability to upload their pictures to the Web since the first cameraphones were introduced, so nothing is very ground breaking here. However with the Flickr integration between on Nokia phones the process becomes much easier.

All you have to do is create account on Flickr, enter login data into new Nokia Nseries phone and you are set. “Publish to Flickr link/button appears on your cameraphone menu or in Image Gallery application you press the button and you are done. Another supported feature is the ability to add comments to the photos that are uploaded from the Nokia Nseries device.

And the ease of use is a key to wide consumer adoption, so we can expect a lot of new photos and ways of using these multimedia devices in the future.
