In addition to the usual 2 megapixel camera, Mp3 player, micro MMC card slot and other things that a good cellphone has to have these days, Nokia 5500 sport is designed with the exercising user in mind. It has three different modes of operation -”phone”, “music” and “sports” that you can select with a press of a single button. “Phone” and “Music” modes are self explanatory so we won’t get into details, the most interesting here is the “Sport” mode. It uses built in pedometer that can be enhanced with optional Bluetooth GPS module and special software to monitor and record your exercise, track distances and speed. Nokia 5500 has stainless steel casing with splash and dust resistant shell and a neat “text to speech” function that will read you SMS messages aloud. [...]
