Sporty cellphones are becoming trendy. It took only a week for Sony Ericsson to come up with the answer to Nokia 5500 sports phone. And the answer is – Sony Ericsson W710 Walkman … you guessed it – sports phone.

Sony Ericsson W710 Walkman sports phone is a Quad band (GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900) clamshell that comes with the standard cellphone goodies like 2megapixel camera, FM radio, MP3 player and productivity software applications.

Like other Sony Wlakman Phones W710 is centered around music experience. It comes with plenty of storage room for your music files with 10 MB of built-in memory and 512MB Memory Stick micro. If that is not enough you can get bigger 1GB memory stick. Sony Ericsson M710 Walkman player software provides great sound ands allows easy for easy music navigation and search by album, artist, track or playlist. It has standard 3.5mm jack so you can get the best headset you like if supplied Active Stereo Headset is not enough. Dedicated music controls and a flight mode is also a given.

What makes Sony Ericsson W710i phone different is it’s more ruggeridised design to use during your fitness session and a motion sensor with pedometer software application to count your steps or measure the running distance.
