Nokia 6110 Navigator – fully functional 3.5G HSDPA phone with GPS Navigation
With Samsung introducing a slew of new phones with cool features like touchscreens, Personal Media Players and the like, and Motorola following suit at 3GSM conference, Nokia wouldn’t want to be left behind and their return to classic phone design with Nokia 3110 certainly is not enough.
Well, it has some impressive phones to show off this week too. One of them is Nokia 6110 Navigator.
Designed all around navigation function Nokia Navigator 6110 phone comes with built-in GPS and AGPS (Assisted GPS)functionality. It also has integrated local maps, routing and navigation available with the click of the phone’s one-touch Navigator key. That will allow lucky Nokia 6110 owner easily view their location on the map, search for destinations, find specific routes, or locate services such as restaurants, hotels or shops that are nearby. Nokia Navigator will even recommend you the best route to the desired location whether you are with a car or on foot.
The maps for the location where you buy your Nokia 6110 Navigator will come preinstalled on a memory card. Maps for other locations and additional content such as traffic information, weather services or local guides can be purchased and downloaded online.
And that’s easy thing to accomplish, since Nokia 6110 is a fully functional 3.5G smartphone too. It comes with 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity, 2.2″ 16 million color QVGA screen, built-in VGA camera for video calls as well as 2 mpx camera with dedicated capture key, panorama mode and integrated flash.
