In a remote control can be build in mobile throw a software .now it will not came this faciliy if it come more advanced in cell phone

I sure wish someone with half a brain and more programing experience than me would make this thing before SONY does because if not, SONY will charge an arm and a leg to get and I’m sure it will be just as proprietary as all their other products. I really don’t understand why this has not been developed already. Is it just because SONY got the patent first so they could lock out modders from making the software themselves, or did SONY actually lock out the use of the IR port on the phone so no one could make their own homebrew application?
