Sony Ericsson K850i 5 mpx Cybershot should be announced this spring, possibly even during CeBit trade show in Hanover this week.
Tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz) SE K850i is expected to feature: 5 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, GPRS and UMTS connectivity, 320×240 QVGA 262K color LCD display, second 640×480 VGA camera, Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP) and USB 2.0 interface in a 117×48x13 mm candybar form factor.

It won’t be in the UK until late in 2007 but people are already waiting for the 5 megapixel Sony Ericsson K850i. New features include an automatic camera cover and updated software including a brand new media browser with Accelerometer (more about that in a moment). Similar to the K810i, the new K850i has small but well-spaced keys. There’s an even larger display – now 2.2 inches. Sony Ericsson have also added HSDPA, which means faster 3G downloads. The K850i camera is a 5 megapixel job and there’s loads of technology packed in to ensure your photos are as good as those taken with a dedicated digital camera. It has auto focus, image stabiliser, xenon flash and Sony Ericsson’s BestPic technology which takes nine shots in quick succession and lets you choose the best one. One of the most impressive new features is the Accelerometer which allows you to view photos in either portrait or landscape mode by simply rotating the phone. Hold it upright to view in portrait mode or sideways for landscape. Let’s not forget that the K850i is much more than just a cameraphone. It’s also a 3G videophone, a music player, a web browser, RSS reader and a mobile office. It’s capable of playing high quality video, 3D games and it has an FM radio plus stereo Bluetooth. All of Sony Ericsson’s gizmos are included such as TrackID, PlayNow, picture blogging, Push email – it’s all there. There’s 40 MB of memory built in and more can be added using either a Memory Stick Micro card or a microSD card.
the only comment i can add to this fantastic as i guess cameraphone is; why do we have to wait sooooo lpng to be able to get it??????
I’ve been using sony ericsson phones since 1998,having recently the k750i,800i and now the k810i,will for sure change my phone as soon as the k850i will be available.
I feel sorry for those who have never experienced a sony ericsson. Cant wait for K850i in Tanzania

I think the price in singapore is around 400 to 500

My Sony-Ericsson W850i Rocking……
Im planning to get tis phone soon. However, my concern is that when sms-ing, will it be kinda difficult due to the button size are kinda small. I hv been using Nokia for almost 5years now.My only concern is will it be difficult to type sms as I send lots of smses daily..
