Rumors about the new Sony Ericsson P700i smartphone have been floating around the net for a while now.

And finally, with the post of Deuxani in Esato forums we have a more complete picture of how the new SE P700i will look like:

Some specs for Sony Ericsson P700i have been revealed on some forums and sites few weeks ago and are the following:

SE P700i looks like a real powerhouse of a smartphone to me.

    For a long time I’ve recommended Sony Ericsson phones and this one looks great too…

    I’m not to sure on the keyboard tho, I just hope it works better than others I have tried.

    I don’t care what SE do. After the problems I had with my last p990i they could make a phone that could toast bread and fly to the moon and I still wouldn’t buy it.

    Is the M6XXi series being replaced with this P700i. It looks like the next evolution of the M600i, and the Qwerty keyboard looks the same.

    I am a Sony Ericsson fan and I love my W series, K series and my M600i.
    I think this device will definitely do some justice to those of us who fell in love with the touchscreen SEs. 3.2mpx cam? sweet! I shall start saving up NOW so that when it drops and the price is known, I will not fret too terribly!

    i think this would give better compition to nokia e90 according to me if this phone does not has wifi then the cost would be lot less than e60 and we all know sony ericsson uiq phone are the best

    The keyboard is alot nicer than that of the M600i. It ‘curve’ of the individual keys is alot subtler than that of the M600i.

    I have used three different models of Sony Ericsson Phones and they are great except that the battery doesnt last long after charging and within a period three months only the battery becomes weak.Also the phone screen is usually small when compared to its category in Nokia Phones.Sony Ericsson should try and make their battery very strong and durable so that if it is charged it will last long and it can also stay up to 1 year without becoming weak.U Should also increase the screen dimension by at least 20% so that the phone will look more classical.
