Symbian Guru has got a real good friend in Nokia that helped him get the scoop about some real good NSeries phones/multimedia devices in the works there.

The first one (on the left) - Nokia N81 is a 8GB Gaming Slider Phone, which should become one of the first official new N-Gage platform devices with some good specs:

  • Quad band GSM, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA connectivity
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0
  • Memory: 8GB internal flash memory
  • Main Display: 2.4″QVGA 240×320, 16M colors
  • Main Camera: 2Mpix
  • Second Camera: CIF
  • Music Playback time: up to 12,5 hours
  • Gaming time: up to 3-4 hours
  • Talk time: up to 3-4 hours (3G)/3-4 hours(GSM)
  • Standby time: up to 15 days
  • Dimensions: 102 x 50 x 17.9 mm
  • Weight: ~ 140g

Nokia N81 will also have a dedicated gaming keys, “Navi Wheeel and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Nokia N82 imaging phone (on the right) is the real treat. It takes on, where Nokia N95 left off.

Nokia 82 candybar is similar in size to Nokia N73 and packs some really great things inside.

The specs for Nokia N82 include:

  • Quad band GSM, UMTS and HSDPA connectivity
  • 5 mpx camera with Carl Zeiss lens
  • Autofocus, up to 20 x digital zoom. Real Xenon flash
  • 30 fps VGA video capture
  • Secondary CIF camera

  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0
  • 100 MB built-in memory

  • Dimensions: 112 x 50.2 x 17.3 mm

  • Talk time: GSM: 280min, WCDMA: 180min (Target)
  • Standby time: GSM: 270hrs WCDMA: 250hrs (Target)

Both phones are still in the final design stages and should be launched in Q4, 2007.
