When we received a tip about Sony Ericsson W999i Walkman slider, we had our doubts of whether this phone is real.
It certainly looked good, but everyone knows that you can make almost anything look real good with Photoshop. And the green colors for the Walkman logo did not help matters much.
But the same picture for Sony Ericsson W999i Walkman Slider now has been posted on official GSM Association site in the HSDPA compatible phone section, next to already announced SE Z750 HSDPA phone:

And that lends much more credibility to the previous rumor.
Except for the picture and confirmation of HSDPA connectivity, there’s no more info about SE W999i slider.
Other rumored specs for Sony Ericsson W99i are - 2.4″ 262 color 240×320 QVGA Screen, 2mpx camera and 12.5 mm thickness.
