Samsung Anycall SCH-C220/SPH-C2200/SPH-C2250 – slimmest slider for CDMA networks

Those darn lucky GSM network operator subscribers. All the newest and best phones always go to them. Case in point – Samsung U600 Ultra Edition II, 10.9 mm slimmest slider. Why on earth it had to be made only for GSM networks. Why can’t I have it with my CDMA network operator ?!

Well, now I can. At least in Korea. Samsung has released CDMA version 10.9 millimeter slider over there, called Samsung SCH-C220/SPH-C2200 /SPH-C2250. (different numbering schemes for different carriers).

The specs for Samsung C220 slider include:

As you can see Samsung SCH-C2200 is pretty similar to Samsung U600 slimmest slider. The main difference here is smaller camera (2 mpx instead of 3.2), but CDMA slider supports GPS functionality, which is a nice feature to have.

Samsung SCH C220 is headed for the main Korean mobile operators – SKT, KTF and LG Telecom – for now and will cost 500K Won (~500 US$)
