I once went to a website where after rebates and such they actually ended up paying you $5 dollars to give you a 512 mb SD card. Why then do all of these devices come with 256 and or 128 megs on board? Do these companys like to taunt us? Do they think this is funny? It cost NOTHING to put in a gig of memory these days so what is up ???????

The specs are wrong. There is no MSM7200 Chipset running at 384MHz. The MSM7200 is a fantastic piece of silicon, with TWO ARM core (ARM11 for general purpose and ARM9 for phone) which means there will be NO NEED for Samsung 400MHz CPU. It also has a powerful 3D hardware graphics accelerator built in for fantastic 3D games (Think PSP) but the chip specs only include Bluetooth 1.2, not 2.0. It will also have DVD quality movie recording aka Nokia N93/95 and TV out capabilities

looks really sexy. definitley an iphone inspired design transition for htc. prolly going to be $$1200 like the htc universal but I want one. as much as we bash the iphone I want the touchscreen technology implemented in all phones.

hmmm that Qualcomm chip running at an odd speed (the qualcomm is usually 400mhz), or is it the 7200 as well as ANOTHER chip running at 384mhz? (doubt it but would be nice)

if it's just the Qualcomm, then i was happier believing it would have the 400mhz Samsung AND the 384mhz Qualcomm....we'll see i guess.

the 3.1MP camera sounds good, and seeing as the OMNI has the same base tech as the KAISER, the camera will probably be AUTOFOCUS too.
in fact researching the kaiser is a good primer for what the omni can achieve.

USB OTG is part of the 7200 chipset, but has USB OTG been confirmed for this device?
