Samsung Armani phone and TV coming

During last few years, while obsessing about the thinness of it’s phones, Samsung missed a very important trend.

Overall specs of the mobile phones are becoming pretty similar, so nothing to brag about, except at the highest end of handsets. Also, anybody is able to produce reasonably sized mobile phone. It does not really matter that your phone is thinnest in the world.

It’s all about design now! And Samsung handsets are pretty lacking here. Just compare Samsung E590 designer phone to LG Shine. Even it’s latest touchscreen model Samsung P520 looks pale next to LG Prada KE850. And I’m not even talking about iPhone.

Looks like Samsung decided to do something about it and enlisted Giorgio Armani for the design of the latest electronics, reports Yonhap News Agency:

“We are now in talks with Armani to work together in making premium goods such as mobile phones and televisions,” a Samsung spokesperson said, declining to comment further.

If not for the Apple’s iPhone, LG Prada would have been touted as a revolutionary phone design of 2007 . Let’s see if Samsung Armani phone will be as impressive.
