DIVX on LG KU990 Viewty now official

When I was checking LG KU990 Viewty during IFA Electronics show, LG reps mentioned Viewty’s ability to play Divx movies several times, as a strong selling point for the device.

And their demonstration with 300 movie playing on KU990 was quite interesting too. But there was no official announcement about Divx support in LG press materials at the time. And there was no LG Viewty at Divx stand too.

Well, I guess they had to finalize some details before the official PR, but now we have it. LG officially announced that they’ve got a certification from Divx for it’s KU990 Viewty phone.

Now almost all the key features for the new LG flagship are official. There’s only announcement missing, but the news that LG KU990 will support 5 mobile Google apps should be out there pretty soon too.
