Some new, unannounced phones tend to appear in the most unlikely places.
While the dummy phone models turning up on E-Bay is nothing to write home about (we’ve had that with Nokia E65 last winter and with Nokia 8900 just last week), a working, unannounced Sony Ericsson Walkman prototype on a Polish auction site - is something new.

The phone, which looks like a successor of SE W880i and would probably become Sony Ericsson W890i Walkman, has been put on an auction this Saturday.
The listed specs for SE W890i include:
- GPRS, UMTS and Bluetooth connectivity
- 3.2 megapixel main camera
- front camera for video calls
- FM Radio
- menu layout like on SE k850i
- thickness - 12 mm
- 1 GB Memory Stick Micro M2 included
The live pictures for Sony Ericsson W890i look real enough and it does not look like a hoax.
Currently the highest bid for W890i Walkman is 530 Zloty (~140 EUR), which looks kinda low for a working next gen Walkman phone. But the auction is set to run for 5 more days, so the price is likely to go up.
