Sony Ericsson W890i (probably) surfaces on Polish Auction site

Some new, unannounced phones tend to appear in the most unlikely places.

While the dummy phone models turning up on E-Bay is nothing to write home about (we’ve had that with Nokia E65 last winter and with Nokia 8900 just last week), a working, unannounced Sony Ericsson Walkman prototype on a Polish auction site – is something new.

The phone, which looks like a successor of SE W880i and would probably become Sony Ericsson W890i Walkman, has been put on an auction this Saturday.

The live pictures for Sony Ericsson W890i look real enough and it does not look like a hoax.

Currently the highest bid for W890i Walkman is 530 Zloty (~140 EUR), which looks kinda low for a working next gen Walkman phone. But the auction is set to run for 5 more days, so the price is likely to go up.
