Mio Digiwalker Lovebird GPS/PDA phone wins IF Design Award 2008

I’ve been hearing about Mio Digiwalker Lovebird GPS PDA phone since it scooped If Design China award.

But except for a nice name, category (GPS/PDA) and pretty skimpy description of “simple geometric contours, unique chrome bezel, battery cover made from aluminum with fine hairline texture”, not much was known about Mio Digiwalker Lovebird.

No specs, no pictures and no shipping dates for this Lovebird GPS PDA phone were available.

Well, I still don’t know anything much about the specs, except that it will have GPS sensor, (probably) 3 megapixel camera and a big touchscreen.

Oh, and that it looks really good. Good enough to also scoop the main IF Product Design Award for 2008.

    but 2008 If Design China award still not start , you could type error . it seems win 2007 If Design China award.

    I did not say that Lovebird got 2008 If Design China award. I said it was design China award and the link points to 2007 award press release.

    However in addition to 2007 Design China, Mio Lovebird has now been awarded the main, 2008 If Product Design Award too
