LG KF750, LG KF240 and LG KF300 "Fashion" phones in the works
By Staska on 27 Feb 08Well, finally the mystery (at least for me) of the new LG mobile phone naming scheme with “KF” letters is resolved.
It appears that the “F” in the new names is reserved for the new stylish phones, that are deemed fit to be included into LG’s “fashion” phone line-up.
LG is preparing a new set of fashion phones to show off next week during CeBIT show in Germany.
The two phones that are most likely to be on display there, are high end LG KF750 codenamed Libra, and a music phone – LG KF240.
LG KF750 appears to be a stylish high end touchscreen slider (above), with a new and interesting take on a navigation touchpad, which is something of a cross between the ones found on LG KF510 and LG KF600 handsets.
LG KF 750 also comes with a 5 megapixel camera, VGA camera for video calls, 160 MB of internal memory and microSD memory card slot.
Oh, and it’s already on sale on a Romanian auction site 
LG KF240 should be officially announced already this week, probably tomorrow. It’s a stylish music phone with 2 megapixel camera. It should start shipping next week in Latin America, China and other Asian countries, with CIS and Europe to follow soon.
There’s also a new handset, dubbed LG KF300 in the works too, but I haven’t been able to digg up more info about it yet.
