Samsung G400 Soul Clamshell to launch at CeBit
During Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Samsung put all it’s marketing muscle behind it’s new U900 Soul handset.
As I told you earlier, Samsung must have read a page or two from LG Black Label series marketing manual, and appears to be gunning for the success, LG Chocolate and Shine phones achieved during the last few years.
Well, my theory just got another confirmation, as Samsung is readying more phones in different form factors, under the Soul brand.
The first one of them- Samsung G400 Soul clamshell - is being launched during Cebit trade show this week.
There were some indications and even leaks that Samsung G400 will be launched in Barcelona too. But, I guess, when the decision was made to brand this phone as another kind of Soul, Samsung decided to postpone it until another major trade show.

In Samsung G400 Soul, the interactive touchpad has moved to the front cover of the device, and even became a full interactive 2.22″ touchscreen display. Through it the user can operate built-in FM Radio, music player, camera and photo album. In idle mode, the external display can also show your calendar appointments, wallpapers, digital or analog clock and caller/SMS notifications.
Samsung Soul G400 flip phone comes with all the graphical goodies and GUI skins of the original U900 Soul, that that you can customize with different backgrounds, pictures, colors and fonts.
And, of course, clamshell Soul G400 is a full featured high end camera phone, that has 7.2 Mbps HSDPA data connectivity and 5 megapixel camera with automatic face detection, image stabilizer and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) capabilities.
