LG Viewty now in pink
Since it’s introduction, the sales of LG Viewty KU990 phones were quite brisk.
Only in the first five weeks LG has sold more then 300K pieces of it, probably even outselling iPhone before the Christmas season. And, despite a steep $700+ price tag, it managed to sell 130K of Korean version of Viewties (LG-SH210/KH2100/LH2100) in domestic market since then.
But nowadays it’s not enough to have one black box for a phone, to make everyone happy. No matter what the features and specs it has inside.
LG knows this quite well and it already has introduced the silver versions of it’s Viewty and Prada phones.
Well, I guess, the silver and black colors are still too manly to capture the attention of a very big and important part of the marketplace. Young women.
So LG Viewty just got another color version for female buyers added to the selection. And it is… You got it right - it’s pink:
For now, Pink LG Viewty is available only in Korea.
But I’d bet you dollars to donuts, that it won’t take long to see LG Viewty Pink floating around Europe as well.

I agree that LG Viewty KU990 phones were the first of their kind in the market to feature advanced touch interface, which eliminated the need for conventional numeric keypad and replaced it with a capacitive touch screen. It is wonderful now that after the conventional black models LG Viewty KU990 we have the vibrant pink which is sure take world by storm. It would be good idea to introduce some more YOUNG colors!
