A gold Buddhist cellphone for serious telephony with the Gods
If you should ever need to reconnect with your inner self and make up for lost time, the Buddhist cellphone with its ornately decorated outer casing is here to help you. It’s a cellphone that’s supposedly targeted towards the niche market of budding Buddhists, who of course from time to time need to communicate with the rest of the world too.
The Buddhist cellphone is adorned by Buddhist symbolism in every inch of its body, from scriptures, to gems, to a photo of a great Buddha in lotus position himself at the back. This could have been a photo of Steve Jobs, but thankfully Apple has laid off projects like this and does not appear to have any similar plans for a similar thing soon.
Yes, the Buddhist cellphone can make calls, send and receive text messages, from the second photo down you can tell that it has a built-in camera, and it also offers pre-installed ringtones that are Buddhist-centric like its customized software and UI.
Unfortunately, you have to be in China in order to get one. But I’m sure if you really want it, you’ll find a way. All in the name of faith, right?
