AT&T: Blackberry Pearl 8110 Launch
The launch of the Blackberry Pearl 8110 smartphone with GPS from AT&T was announced today by AT&T and Research in Motion. This is great news for AT&T customers everywhere, now that the phone has found its way into corporate stores.
The Blackberry Pearl 8110 smartphone is a truly extraordinary lifestyle tool, one that allows mobile users to get everything they need to get by on the day to day in a single device.
It makes it much quicker and easier for users to make calls, email, surf the net, take and send photographs, access their organizer, listen to music and features an inbuilt GPS system.
AT&T offers a bit more information on this phone and its capabilities:
…Includes built-in global positioning system (GPS) support for location-based applications and services. Combined with navigation and mapping applications such as AT&T Navigator, the handset provides turn-by-turn voice and on-screen directions with colorful 3-D moving maps that can be used in vehicles or while walking. AT&T Navigator also alerts users through voice and on-screen prompts to traffic slowdowns and incidents along their programmed travel route, and it provides customers with the option to choose an alternative route.

This smartphone is packed full of fantastic, efficient features, and is ideal for owners of small businesses and other busy professionals on the go.
Mark Guibert, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Research in Motion, tells us that:
The Blackberry Pearl 8110 smartphone maintains the exceptional styling and sleek form factor of the Blackberry Pearl franchise. It expands functionality with richer multimedia capabilities and built-in GPS while continuing to deliver the full power of the Blackberry platform.
The Blackberry Pearl 8110 is now available at AT&T retail stores nationwide for a price as low as $149.99, with a two-year contract, unlimited data plan and $39.99 voice plan.
