Nokia announces Nokia 6600 Slide
By David Gonzales on 29 Apr 08The Nokia 3600 Slide and Nokia 6600 Fold aren’t the be-all end-all of Nokia’s latest product announcement. Along with those two previously mentioned “fashion/glamour” phones, Nokia has also announced that it will be releasing the Nokia 6600 Slide – a compact and elegant handset that’s as comfortable to hold in your hand as it is to look at with your eye.
The Nokia 6600 Fold will feature the Nokia Maps application built-in, and this can further be enhanced by availing of Nokia’s optional Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W. So apparently, Nokia wants to promote he Nokia 6600 Slide not only as a beautiful phone but also a highly beneficial and useful one.
Under the glossy, high-quality steel covers and aluminium center key, you’ll find tech for an up to 16-million color 2.2″ QVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera and Nokia’s famous user-friendly UI, of course.
The Nokia 6600 Slide will retail for 250 EUR (about $390) excluding taxes and subsidies. Watch out for its arrival by the third quarter of 2008.
