Blackberry KickStart Specs and T-Mobile Launch
To follow up on yesterday’s story of the Blackberry KickStart, there are now a couple more images on the phone as well as some interesting specs.
The phone has T-Mobile branding, and BGR tells us of some of the new details on this first-ever Blackberry clamshell, including that the screen is monochromatic with a color glow and that the back battery cover will either be a soft-touch rubberized finish or a low gloss finish.

These features are not confirmed but here are a few hard specs:
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- “Next Gen” SureType keyboard
- 2 megapixel camera
- 16-bit color LCDs
- Internal LCD is 320 x 240, external LCD is 160 x 128
- Wi-Fi b, g
- 3.5mm headset jack
- OS is 4.6
It seems that the general assumption is that the Blackberry KickStart will be released around September, and we will definitely be sure to keep you updated and confirm a release date as soon as the information becomes available to us.
