First photo of Helio Ocean 2?
Another curious handset that a lot of people are eager to see is Helio’s second gen Ocean phone, which is also known as the OZ2. Well, here it is, in all its miniscule, sliding, black glory.
A QWERTY keyboard of sorts will be part of the Helio OZ2’s final form factor, and with it is the touch-sensitive directional pad that, although not new, adds a little bit of pizzazz to this new phone from Helio.

OK, maybe the photo isn’t really the best there is, but at least it’s there! Makes things easier to understand, I think. But I know, it doesnt’ help you discern what this mysterious handset can really do, so here’s a quick list of its latest specs to date:
- 3 megapixel camera
- 1GB internal memory
- In-browser Flash support
- support for microSDHC cards
- 30fps video
- PC sync capability
We still haven’t confirmed where this will be available and for how much, but we’re told that June 20 is the official launch date. We’ll be waiting on that day to confirm it, as always.
