Samsung U900 Soul gets candybar counterpart in Soulb U800
You remember how we first told you about a certain “Samsung U800″ candybar phone a while back that looks strikingly like the Samsung U900 Soul? Well, here it is, ladies and gentlemen, in its official, press release grease laden self. It’s released now in a new “spirit of Ultra” form factor, which I have to say really does a great job of reminding us about Samsung’s Ultra edition.
It carries only a 2.0” QVGA screen on its 9.9mm thin body, but don’t let that mislead you; this is one powerful phone. Along with the diminutive screen, the Samsung Soulb U800 also features a 3 megapixel camera with Power LED flash, 1GB of internal memory and support for additional storage from microSD cards. It has a Tri-Band antenna and is HSDPA compatible, so you’ll be able to use it in most places around the world granted of course that there’s a signal at hand.

The Samsung Soulb U800 will be available by June in Germany, and in several other European and Asian markets shortly thereafter. It will be made available in 5 color choices (Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet) for a yet undisclosed price.
