Nokia 7310 SuperNova gets official
As it turns out, the little S40 Nokia that we’ve been tossing around the interwebs (in pictures) for quite some time now, is actually the Nokia 7310 SuperNova, not the Nokia 7310 Classic. Who would’ve known?
Now this phone, although offering a few great features, is very very far from stellar. Let alone enough to be called a “SuperNova.” But anyway, let’s not be critics here and take the phone as it is. A candy bar Nokia phone that could. For casual cellphone users, it should do.

The Nokia 7310 SuperNova, as we have been able to discern from info in the past, will have a 2 megapixel camera at its back, a 2″ QVGA display supporting up to 16.7 million colours, built-in music player and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. And of course that’s not all. It’s a very able phone as well, being a Nokia.
If this phone interests you though, better dig in your contact books for someone in Hong Kong. Because that’s where this new Nokia seems to be headed, if the web site where it launched in should offer any clues. We’ve no way to confirm this yet, so take heart. And the pricing shouldn’t be so far out of reach when it finally comes. In any case, we’ll keep you posted.
