Sony Ericsson W760 gets more expensive MTV Edition
W760 was announced in January by Sony Ericsson, but the company seems to have decided that the music-oriented phone can be more of a hit to young customers.
The new MTV edition of Sony Ericsson W760 will be available in Italy in a few weeks’ time, and then all over Europe. The MTV edition is the result of a partnership between Sony Ericsson and MTV Europe and will be more expensive than the usual Sony Ericsson W760, which costs around 260 Euros.
The cost of the new device will be around 300 Euros, but you get some benefits for the extra money. The Sony Ericsson W760 MTV Edition has a more colored case and it will allow users to stream MTV music, videos and other mobile content.
The rest of the Sony Ericsson W760 MTV Edition doesn’t seem to have changed at all; it has the same 3.2 megapixel camera and a lot of entertainment features, aimed at the young generation. You’ll get a Walkman 3.0 player, an FM radio and a 2.2” display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. Sony Ericsson W760 MTV Edition also includes a GPS receiver and you can use it to browse the web and download files at HSDPA speeds.
