Tony Hawk T-Mobile Sidekick LX gets official
The collaboration between skateboarding and action sports icon Tony Hawk and T-Mobile has come to fruition, and we finally have official word about the upcoming Sidekick LX Tony Hawk Edition.
The new T-Mobile Sidekick LX Tony Hawk Edition is a new Sidekick LX that features a customized casing, theme, and sound effects that represent Tony Hawk’s own design that’s inspired by his artful profession. It carries the looks of a skateboard and holds some pretty nasty tech inside its body.

For starters, it has a full-QWERTY keyboard and a slide-up WQVGA screen, where you could find it a pleasure to surf the web with its full-page web browser that has JavaScript support. The rest of its specs are standard these days, such as its support for microSD card, stereo Bluetooth, built-in music player and customizable themes.
The T-Mobile Sidekick LX Tony Hawk Edition will be the first Sidekick to come with video record, play and share, a customized MySpace Mobile application available for purchase through the Download Catalog.

If you’re just crazy to get your hands on this new Sidekick, watch out for the official release this summer. Don’t forget to pre-register and get more info from T-Mobile and the Sidekick web site, too.
