Eclipse Intuit Phone concept makes sun useful
Here’s an idea for a look of a possible iPhone killer. Or better yet, this concept could even be one for the a future iPhone itself, especially now that Apple is positively looking into alternative sources of energy for phones. The candy bar you see here is the Eclipse Intuit phone, designed to be a sleek little touchscreen phone that charges itself with the sun.
The Eclipse Intuit phone is a concept by designer Eddie Goh, and it carries a 5 megapixel camera, a wide touchscreen display, slide-out touch keyboard, and it also has built-in image and video editing features.

What’s really notable about this phone concept, though, is that it will have a casing that’s covered in a chemically based thin solar skin so that it can charge the battery whenever it gets exposed to ANY kind of light. That’s right, it doesn’t only use the sun, but practically any kind of light you can imagine.
Now we already have both the technology for harnessing solar power, as well as highly advanced touchscreen phones, but I think we’re still a long way from that “ANY kind of light” battery charging thing. But I won’t be surprised if in a few years, something like this finally comes out.
