Samsung Omnia i900 Coming to AT&T?

Not that this would be a huge surprise given AT&T’s new love for touchscreen phones, but Boy Genius is reporting that the Samsung Omnia is planning on making a visit to AT&T sometime in Q3.

This nice little phone’s specs include a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device with a 5 MP camera with face detection, quad-band EDGE, 3G, WQVGA touch screen, Bluetooth, and either 8GB or 16GB of internal memory, but the specs are subject to change to AT&T’s liking.

On top of that it will have all the AT&T stuff, like Navigator, Music, etc.

If this phone is as loaded as it claims to be, we can’t wait for this one to come stateside!

How does AT&T keeps on getting all the good phones and my carrier (Verizon) gets all the crappy phones???

I was really all the features about this phone at http://www.Samsung-Omnia.org I got to say it's really amazing.

The Samsung Glyde is no where near this Omnia both features and look and feel, it's really disappoint for verizon. Verizon needs to get its acts together soon or they will get hammered by AT&T.
  • Well, for one thing, Verizon uses CDMA standard to provide service while
AT&T has GSM. And there are much more GSM users around the world then CDMA
ones, so much more phones are produced for them

Funny, I thought ATT had all the crappy phones. They all suck, and the iphone plans are too pricey. At least with their other smartphones you don't have to go with a data plan. What is the point of a data plan on a phone with wi-fi built in?
