Pantech Sky-branded IM-R300 enters touchscreen smartphone arena

Pantech has launched their very first touchscreen phone in Korea through SK Telecom, and it’s called the IM-R300 or the “Love Canvas”.

The IM-R300 features a 2.6-inch, 400 x 240 pixel resolution, WQVGA LCD screen that will support touch gestures. It also packs a DMB TV Tuner, built-in GPS, 2 megapixel camera, music player and eWallet functions.

The Pantech IM-R300’s 260MB of internal memory can be further expanded with microSD cards. Specs say it will run on HSDPA, WCDMA, and GSM networks.

Sadly, those interested in this new phone will have to fly over to Korea, and sign up for the local network that markets it exclusively.
