MOTOROKR E8 coming to T-Mobile on July 7th
Because mobile phone gaming is only half the battle, we’ll never run out of new music-inclined phones to tinker with. And if the MOTOROKR E8′s upcoming availability on T-Mobile’s network is any indication, it seems that everybody’s still trying to cash in on the mobile music biz.
If you’re never heard of the ROKR E8, don’t worry. You haven’t really missed much. The Motorola ROKR E8 is a haptic feedback endowed touchscreen mobile that’s geared towards music. It’s highlights include the so-called ModeShift technology that’s really just a fancy way of saying “the user interface changes depending on which application you use,” the FastScroll navigation wheel which seems more like a clickwheel or NaviWheel that’s been cut in half, and CrystalTalk tech for improved mobile telephony.

Fans of Interpol, The Starting Line and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will be glad, as music tracks and album art from them will come pre-loaded, and there’s a built-in FM radio for kicks.
The Motorola ROKR E8 rocks 2GB of internal memory from the get go, and it supports additional memory with microSD cards up to 4GB. If you think about it, this is actually kind of an OK phone, but not all people will appreciate its design.
For a still undisclosed price, the Motorola ROKR E8 will be available on select T-Mobile retail stores and online at http://www.t-mobile.com. The date to watch out for is July 7th. So, who’s excited?
