Motorola Napolean Q9 World Phone Coming to Verizon
Motorola is cranking out a lot of phones lately! The latest entry, the Q9, is nicknamed the Napolean and offers CDMA/GSM quad-band world roaming (meaning, it will work on GSM in the US). The fellas at Boy Genius put their AT&T SIM card in and had no problem getting it to work on the GSM bands in the US.
In addition, the Napolean Q9 will offer:
- WinMo 6.1
- EVDO Rev A and quad-band EDGE
- 2 MP Camera w/flash
- Wi-Fi
- 1500 mAh battery
- Fingerprint scanner on the back (we’re waiting for this to show up on CSI)
So the Napolean won’t be terribly different than the first Q9, but the fingerprint scanner is rather unique.
Boy Genius has a gallery full of extra pictures for your viewing pleasure, so check out the link.
