Virgin Mobile USA flippingly introduces UTStarcom Sparc
The newest addition to Virgin Mobile USA’s mobile phone lineup comes in a flip phone form factor, and it’s called the UTStarcom Arc. This handset is targeted towards users who prefer the convenience, reliability, and simplicity of a mobile phone that “just works” when it comes to making calls and text messages.
And it’s not just a phone. It’s a camera phone. It’s a “fashion” phone. Above all else, it’s really a phone, and one that comes in a very pocketable size, measuring in at 3.6″ x 1.9″ x 0.8″.
Other features of Virgin Mobile USA’s Arc include the following:
- VGA camera
- Support for mobile web browsing, IM and e-mail
- Preloaded games
- 210 minutes talk time, 14.5 days standby time
- 500-entry phonebook
As you can see, the UTStarcom Arc for Virgin Mobile USA isn’t exactly the most feature-packed mobile phone we’ve reported about here on UV, but as you may have already guessed this unit will come fairly cheap.
