Samsung D980/D988 – DuoS with touchscreen

Samsung’s first try to make dual SIM card full touchscreen phone -P720 – has not been very successful.

Actually it  had to be canceled, because Samsung just couldn’t make dual SIM card UI work on the Armani phone like device.

Well, now that Samsung improved the touch capabilities  with TouchWiz interface, it’s time for another try.

And the best handset for this DuoS/touchscreen second chance is, of course, Armani successor – Samsung F480.

Samsung has added dual SIM functionality, to make F480 into a very pretty looking dual SIM  Samsung D988 handset for China. Which should become Samsung D980 DuoS in other parts of the world soon :

The specs of Samsung D980/D988 dual SIM handset are not too shabby too. Among others they include:

No word of when it will get to Europe yet, but my guess is that it should happen pretty soon.

    those are not the actual Samsung phone. the only real one is Samsung D780 but the rest is imitation.
