Sony Ericsson Walkman Site Emerges
By Brad Molen on 17 Jul 08In anticipation of a large announcement coming July 22, Sony Ericsson has put up a brand new “reveals” website that essentially announces that there is some big Walkman-related event happening next week.
There really is no revealing information on the site at this point in time, just the countdown timer and a little history lesson that shows what they have done in the Walkman series thus far, as if it were a TV series trying to recap the plot to catch the viewers up.
Unwired View has covered the scoop on the devices that may be announced. The rumored walkman phones are:
- W902 “Patty” – candybar with 5 mp camera
- W595 “Linda” – slider with 3.2 mp camera and “mystical music playing abilities”
- W302 “Feng” – entry level walkman with 2 mp camera
- W707 “Alicia” – clamshell with 3.2 mp cam, limited specs available
We’re not certain if more information will show up on the site prior to July 22, but it may not hurt to keep at least one eye on it just in case.
