You need to use a very small piece of tape on the side that is being inserted and slowly push it in. It will work. I have already tried it using T-Mobile but I had to disable 3G as it will not be available in my area until October 1st. Without the small piece of tape it kind of snags going in. The tape may unroll slightly if you need to remove the SIM but be patient and slowly insert and/or remove the card.

No, this doesn't work. I purchased one and here are the issues:

1) - it physically will not fit into an iPhone 3G, even when cutting a notch in the SIM card to make room for the little chip. It appears that the chip is a hair too wide and the SIM card won't lock into place.

I tried putting the Brando into an old model iPhone. It fits, and you get the AT&T logo, but the iPhone complains of a new SIM and demands that you connect to iTunes to activate the phone, where you are promptly told that your SIM is not from a valid company.

all you need is an any-network sim adapter. It works with the iphone 3g and also lets you update when new releases are out.
check it out www.any-network.com.
