Samsung i8510 INNOV8′s camera reviewed at Mobile Review
Once again, Eldar the Great, er, Muzartin, has managed to get his mittens on one of the newest and undoubtedly hottest phones that will soon arrive in the mobile market: the Samsung i8510 INNOV8 smartphone, which packs a competitor-dwarfing 8 megapixel camera with all sorts of photographical wizardry.
Among the Samsung i8510 INNOV8′s camera features are up to 3264×2448 photo resolution, mechanical shutter, face detection, as well as smile shutter tech which snaps a photo once it detects a smile on the subject’s face. At first the INNOV8 seems to have all the bells and whistles you’d expect to see on a high-end bar-setting modern cameraphone, and you’d think it has it all. Until you learn that it only has an LED flash.

Frankly, I think Samsung’s decision to go it with the i8510 INNOV8 only sporting a meager LED flash is mind-boggling, but according to Eldar’s INNOV8 camera review, it really only makes so much difference, and the performance is still better than most other cameraphones on the market today.
Here’s their final impression on the Samsung i8510 INNOV8′s camera:
While it can’t replace a decent digital compact, the INNOV8 will hold its own against unsophisticated digital cameras in most shooting modes and lighting conditions, including low light, which is a big step forward for mobile phones.
