Softbank will start selling Casio phones by year’s end
After recently adding the Apple iPhone to its mobile phone lineup in Japan, Softbank Corp has announced that it will also start offering handsets from Casio Computer by the end of the year.
Yes, Casio actually makes their own mobile phones. And they’re billed as being very waterproof and shock-resistant little things.

Among other things, Casio will be Softbank Japan’s very first provider of WCDMA handsets, as it tries to further expand it user base and “boost the appeal of [their] mobile phone services among potential subscribers.”
The specific Casio phone models that will be released from Softbank haven’t been revealed yet, but let’s just hope they only go with the best ones.
