BBC iPlayer coming to Nokia N96
About a month after you first get your hands on your new Nokia N96 (assuming you’re getting one), you can try out streaming and watching downloaded shows directly on the handset.
This is all via the BBC iPlayer, which is scheduled for release with the N96 next month, in a deal between BBC and mobile phone maker Nokia.
Downloading of shows can be done over either 3G or Wi-Fi, which is convenient because not all of us are under a Wi-Fi hotspot, or feel at ease with paying for thousands and thousands for mobile data. It is said that a 1-hour long program takes about five to ten minutes to download via wi-fi. Sweet!

Perhaps it will be easier to enjoy the mobile TV offerings on the Nokia N96 now that BBC iPlayer support is made possible. Be wary of that phone bill, though. It could come back to bite you.
