HTC’s earnings grow over 33% on year in August
The company behind the sexiest Windows Mobile (and just recently, Palm) smartphones we’ve ever seen, HTC, has posted revenues of about $398.4 million USD for August. This is up 11.1% on month.
Meanwhile, this also means a 33.6% on year on-year increase in revenue for the company. HTC’s total earnings for the last eight months now amount to NT$91.47 billion, up from last year’s 32.5%.

Industry sources were quoted as saying that the company aims to sell up to NT$38 billion for the third quarter of this year. With the upcoming release of the CDMA-based HTC Touch Diamond in the US, HTC could very well meet this ambitious goal.
