Solar power leather case charges your iPhone the green way

Have an iPhone or iPhone 3G and you’re looking for ways to keep its battery charged without damaging the planet? The solution might be this new solar power leather case that should keep any of the iPhone’s editions alive with just sunbeams.

Sold for $48 through Brando, the leather case includes a 1500 mAh Li-Po battery that can be charged under the sunlight and then used to give your iPhone some extra power after its own battery is depleted. The case’s Li-Po battery can also be charged by AC-DC power. That’s for the days when the sun’s busy fighting clouds and can’t help you in your green endeavors.

The solar case measures 125 x 64 x 25 millimeters, so your slim iPhone will become a fatty when housed in it. Also, the case will add 100 grams to the already existing ~130 ones of the smartphone. But if you want to save the world and use as little energy as possible, I guess it’s worth it.

Hello, Could you tell me more about this solar power leather case?
What's the material, and how long it can charge my phone full?
Does it just suit for the IPhone? If my phone is Nokia, is it ok?
    Waiting for your reply.
    Thanks

Is a very cool idea to charge our gadgets from a clean source but this product doesn't work.
I got one of those from solararcadia.com and is totally dead after the first charge. I’m trying to contact them for refund but no success.
If you google it you will find other comments about the same issue.
