Ugly leak unveils beautiful Nokia E72 and E75 QWERTY smartphones
Although Nokia has released two new Eseries smartphones just a few months ago (you know, the E71 and E66), other two ones are on their way. Due to what it seems to be an ugly leak, Nokia E72 and Nokia E75 have popped up on the Web, in a 2-minute demo video that looks as official as only a video made by Nokia can be.
So, what’s up with these two new Eseries? As the video shows it, they’re probably not supposed to be the successors of E71 and E66, but more like additions to them.
The E72 resembles the E71 a lot, having the same design and the same QWERTY keyboard. On the other hand, Nokia E75 seems to be a first for the Finns, as it brings a sliding QWERTY keypad and a regular, alphanumeric one. Other than that, when its QWERTY keypad is hidden, the E75 kind of resembles the E66 mentioned above.
Both the new smartphones will come with the 3rd edition of Symbian S60 and, as shown in the leaked vid, they’ll have two color versions, or at least two: red and black. And the red ones look quite pretty (but it might be just me and my girly tastes).
As for when Nokia will officially present the E72 and E75, no one knows. But the Finnish company is definitely not glad the phones have broke cover. The leaked video that started it all was also on YouTube, but it was quickly taken down. Now its link leads to a page that only says this video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Nokia Corporation.
