LG KC780 press photo surfaces – 8 Megapixels of sliding slimness
Remember the 8 Megapixel LG KC780? Sure you do, it was only last week that we uncovered a blurry picture of it. Well, now the handset has become a bit more official, as a press photo with it appeared on the Web, offering us a clearer view over its look.
As expected, LG KC780 is not as glamorous as the full-touch KC910 Renoir, but it’s still a nice little slider.
According to GSM Arena, the KC780 has lots of chances to become the world’s thinnest 8 Megapixel camera phone. But to do so, it must be slimmer than Samsung M8800 Pixon, which has an official thickness of only 13.8 millimeters.
Sure, we’ve seen slider phones thinner than that, but none of them have a camera with such a high Megapixel count. So, if LG really managed to pack the 8 MP camera of KC780 into a case slimmer than Pixon’s, then the South Korean manufacturer really deserves a lot of appreciation.
As far as specs go, together with the 8MP auto focus camera, LG KC780 should bring:
-
A TFT display with limited touchscreen support
-
Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
-
USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0
-
Video recording at 30fps
-
140MB of extendable memory
This is about all we know regarding LG’s new 8 Megapixel slider, but more info will surely come in the near future. And we’ll be here to present it to you.
