Nokia E90 v300.34.84 firmware update now available for download
For users of the last great Nokia Communicator phone called the Nokia E90 who wish to get in on some latest firmware action, you may now do so by heading over to your computer’s Nokia Software Updater and updating your E90’s firmware.
The Nokia E90’s last firmware version was 210.34.75, and now it’s up to 300.34.84. The firmware update contains some rather important fixes and new features, some of which are listed below.
Just a quick note: upgrading to the latest Nokia E90 firmware will rid it of BlackBerry support, but here’s what you get in return.
- Much faster orientation switching (open/close lid etc)
- Nokia Maps 2.0 now built-in
- Download! application updated (v 3.1.736)
- Cosmetic upgrade to Music player
- Update for Flash Lite 3 and Flash video
- Wi-Fi improvements
- New baseline for VoIP
- Realplayer supports FLV format
Be sure to back up your data before updating because, you know, it’s going to get erased completely.
