AT&T is the proud US carrier that today launched the Sony Ericsson W760a in the States.
The W760a is presented by AT&T as the country’s first Walkman phone to have 3G connectivity. Sony Ericsson W760a also offers some very nice features, so it’s likely that lots of AT&T customers will find it worthy of being acquired.
Thanks to its built-in accelerometer, Sony Ericsson W760a lets you play motion based games and control the Walkman music player only by shaking the device. There are two dedicated gaming buttons too, for some extra interactivity.
A nicely designed slider phone, the W760a also features:
2.2 inches QVGA display with 256K colors
GPS and a 30-day free trial of AT&T Navigator
Full HTML browser
Email & Instant Messenger
FM radio with RDS
3.2 MP no-aoutofocus camera with video
40MB internal memory and support for M2 cards
Sony Ericsson W760a should be on sale as of today, for $129.99 with a 2-yr contract and after a mail-in rebate. There will be three color options to choose from: black, red and silver, the last one being sold only via RadioShack for the beginning.
