Samsung I7110 now official: one of the thinnest Symbian S60 smartphones

Today, Samsung has gone official with its I7110 Symbian S60 smartphone, a handset that leaked several times until now.

The official details regarding Samsung I7110 confirm most of the rumored ones. The I7110 is a device that can easily stand beside smartphones like those from Nokia’s Nseries family. And this is not only because the I7110 runs on Symbian V9.3 S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2.

Apart from the fact that it’s slim (12.9 mm) and it looks really cool, the new Samsung comes packed with tons of features, from an AMOLED display (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) to DLNA and FM transmitter.

Here’s the full list with Samsung I7110’s specs:

Samsung will showcase the new I7110 during the Symbian Smartphone Show in London (21 – 22 October). The smartphone will be available in Russia for the beginning, sometime in November. Its price is not yet known, neither are any details about the other markets that will get it after the Russian November launch.
