Samsung C6620 smartphone launched in Italy; approved by FCC too
Samsung has recently released a new BlackJack-like smartphone, called Samsung C6620 and currently available only in Italy, via TIM and its MVNO, MTV Mobile.
TIM sells the C6620 for €199, in three color versions: Wine Red, Apple Green and Navy Blue. The smartphone seems to be an exclusive for TIM, but most probably this is only for Italy, thus we will soon see it in other countries too.
Running on Windows Mobile 6.1, Samsung C6620 is very slim, coming with a full QWERTY keyboard and a non-touchscreen QVGA display
The main specs of Samsung C6620 are:
-
Tri band GSM connectivity, 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
-
UMTS/HSDPA connectivity
-
Bluetooh
-
Music player
-
2MP camera with video recording
-
20MB of internal memory plus a 1GB card
-
Integrated modem
-
108.8 grams
-
113.3 x 63 x 11.9 mm
-
Talk time: up to 420 minutes
-
Stand by time: up to 300 h
Apart from being launched in Italy, Samsung C6620 was also approved by the FCC. But unless Sammy has a version of it to work on North America’s GSM frequency bands, the smartphone can’t be released there.
