Verizon launches Photobucket mobile service
Verizon Wireless’ customers have, from now on, a new mobile photo service, offered by the big V in collaboration with Photobucket, the popular multimedia-sharing website.
Initially available only on 13 Verizon phones, the service comes together with the Photobucket Mobile Uploader application.
To benefit from the new service, users have to create a free account on photobucket.com and link it to their Verizon account. After that, all the existing photos, as well as the future ones saved on your handset, can be automatically uploaded to the Photobucket account created.
To get the Photobucket application, you can: text “photob” to 2777, visit the Verizon Wireless Get It Now catalog in the Community and Sharing category, or simply go to photobucket.com/mobile.
Verizon says that the Photobucket mobile service is a first for the US, so its customers should feel proud about it, I guess.
