Nokia launches Mobile Web Server 1.5 beta
Nokia has just released Mobile Web Server 1.5 beta for Symbian S60 smartphones, an application that allows users to access (and manage) their phones via the WWW, from a desktop browser.
Like many of Nokia’s applications and services, Mobile Web Server is offered free of any charge.
Among the new things that the 1.5 beta version of Nokia’s Mobile Web Server brings, we have: easier access rights management, smart network handling and improved RSS feeds.
The enhanced RSS feeds, for example, lets you easily share content or contextual information from your phone, and even your personalized feed, assuming you have one. All feeds are “served” via Nokia’s My Mobile Site, hence they are available at any time.
Mobile Web Server 1.5 beta can be downloaded from this address, either directly on your S60 handset or via a PC.
