HTC Touch Pro outed by Alltel too
If you don’t fancy Sprint or AT&T but still want to get an HTC Touch Pro for a subsidized price, you now have Alltel’s offering: the Touch Pro is available via the US carrier (that will soon be integrated into Verizon) for as low as $279.99. That’s together with a 2-yr contract agreement, obviously.
Similar to the Sprint version, Alltel’s HTC Touch Pro doesn’t have the diamond-like back cover of the original edition, but I guess many of you won’t be missing it anyway.
Apart from that, the HTC Touch Pro features all the nice stuff you should be already aware of, like a QWERTY keyboard, a VGA touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.2MP camera and the TouchFlo 3D UI that works together with Windows Mobile 6.1.
You can purchase the HTC Touch Pro form Alltel’s online shop, where you can also find the Touch Diamond, for 30 bucks less.
It’s said that Verizon is getting ready to launch the Touch Pro too, which makes perfect sense given the Alltel acquisition mentioned a bit earlier.
